Head Coach - Tony Murray
Coach Tony started coaching in 1998, working with Fairland Aquatics, Rockville Montgomery Swim Club, and All-Star Aquatics. He also contributed to multiple PVS zone team staff. Tony coached at Calverton Chargers for 23 years, St. Johns College High School for 20 years, earning Coach of the Year in 2014.
In 2021, he moved to Fort Mill, becoming head coach at Bradford Prep High School, winning Coach of the Year in 2021. For the past 3 years, he has led the Pre 2 group for the Upper Palmetto Rays.
Tony has coached all age groups, bringing extensive knowledge to the team. He teaches PE at Riverwalk Academy and lives in Fort Mill with his wife and daughter.
Assistant Coach - Ashley Sawyer Sheets
Assistant Coach Ashley began swimming when she was 6 years old. She started her swimming career on her local summer league in Charleston, SC. She fell in love with swimming then and went on to swim as a sprinter for Columbia College in Columbia, SC. Ashley has previously coached and taught swim lessons at the YMCA and has always enjoyed sharing her love of the sport. Ashley has a background in early childhood education, but now is an assistant to a financial advisor. She lives in Fort Mill with her husband, Taylor and dog, Poppy.
